In 1960, Chris Peleties, the founder of the Group, started to import and manufacture innovative products providing practical solutions to the construction industry.

One of the main products was PILOPLAST, a patented tile adhesive.

In 1965, the production of paints and other building products commenced which was initially with technical support and co-operation from Sissons Brothers, a British company.

In 1970, a new production unit, PELETICO PLASTERS LTD, was established for the production of premixed plasters and expanded perlite.

In 1975, the Group's activities were further diversified with the establishment of a bentonite processing plant, PELETICO PENTA LTD.

In 1980, the production of cat litter begins gradually.

In 1985, a ground-breaking technique for the processing of bentonite for cat litter is discovered and is patented both in the USA and the European Union. The end product is exported to a number of European countries.
Peletico HELLAS S.A. starts importing and distributing Peletico products in Greece, based in Athens.

In 1990, an agreement is reached between Peletico Ltd and Sherwin-Williams® company, one of the biggest paint manufacturers in the world. This agreement granted Peletico Ltd the rights to manufacture under license Sherwin-Williams® products for the Cypriot and Greek markets.

In 2005, Peletico Ltd started importing from the UK and distributing Ronseal® and Thompson's® products from Sherwin-Williams® Diversified Brands Limited to the Cypriot and Greek markets.

In 2009, Peletico Plasters Ltd established a brand new fully automated production unit, considered as a technological breakthrough, for the production of cement based plasters, adhesives etc.

In 2010, Peletico Ltd, was the first paint manufacturer in Cyprus to convert its solvent based enamel paints and varnishes into water based products, friendly to the end-user and the environment.

In 2014, Peletico Ltd is the first Cypriot paint manufacturer to be certified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and the Environment with the EU Ecolabel certification for sens® range of products.

In 2015, Peletico Ltd started importing from Austria Finalit® products specialising in cleaning, protection and preservation of stone, marble, granite etc.
